Bio
Roy Chamberlin is an independent photographer living in Tucson, Arizona. He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. With over 38 years of experience working in the arts, he began his career as a painter and sculptor before being introduced to phtography.
The Site
Roy wanted a clean and elegant site with image galleries that loaded quickly. He also wanted to be able to edit the content of his site as well as build his image galleries without having to have any programming knowledge.
Creating an interface where he could upload images in batches and assign them to any gallery he chooses was the right solution for him. Then, the programming on the back side renders the galleries on the fly, creating the thumbnails and placing them into an appealing and easily navigable layout with "before" and "next" arrows with each image.
The result is a very professional, clean presentation where the focus is on Roy's images and not the site itself.
